We schedule the pickup on the date that best suits you, always respecting our logistical availability. Not all dates and times are equally economical or feasible, which is why we always provide a quote and assign a manager to each move to guide you with the price and dates.
The biggest difference in terms of time is the shipping method:

Groupage (LCL): An economical option where your belongings share a container with other moves. It offers flexibility, but the dates depend on completing the load.
Full Container Load (FCL): Fast and exclusive service; the container is yours alone, with immediate departure and shorter transit time.

Documents required to bring your personal effects, furniture, and belongings to Canada

The documents you will need for importation are:

A copy of the page of your passport containing your photo
Visa, Residence Permit, or Authorization to Enter Canada (eTA, work permit, study permit, or confirmation of permanent residence; these original documents may be requested at your destination)

You will also need to complete and sign the customs documents that we will provide:

Form BSF186 / BSF186A: “Personal Effects Accounting Document”
BSF186 is the main declaration and BSF186A is the supplementary inventory if you require more space.
Supplementary declaration for unaccompanied personal and household effects (if applicable)
“Authorization of Release” so that agents at your destination can act on your behalf with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)
Inventory (packing list) in English or French, detailing each package and its contents

Importing Personal Effects into Canada

Personal effects when moving to any part of Canada are duty-free as long as you can prove that they are used, belong to the importer, and were purchased and used before arriving in the country.
In the case of new residents (permanent, temporary, students, or workers), most used personal effects can be imported without paying duties if they are correctly declared to the CBSA.

Customs procedures usually take between 7 and 14 days, depending on the volume of the move, physical inspections determined by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), X-ray checks, or additional verifications.

How long does it take for your move to Canada to arrive?

The transit time from Spain to Canada is thirty to fifty days depending on the time of year. The time begins once the entire administrative process has been completed and the groupage service has been completed, if contracted.
