Mudinmar informs you that, in order to import personal effects and vehicles to Tenerife, two different scenarios must be distinguished based on the status (resident or non-resident) of the importer.
Importing vehicles to Tenerife and required documentation
Importation is subject to the vehicle having Spanish license plates and the owner proving ownership for at least 6 months.
Residents have a one-year deadline, and the original vehicle documentation must be provided along with a valid insurance policy. In the case of company cars, the purchase invoice and an authorization from the company to the employee using the vehicle must be provided, along with the driver’s ID.
